Web apps and SaaS development in Prague

Web apps and SaaS products engineered by senior developers for speed, reliability and long-term ownership. From CZK 150,000, with documented code you keep.

When a website is no longer enough

There is a point where a presentation website stops doing the job. You need customers to book and pay in one flow, staff to see today’s orders on a single screen, members to log in and find their documents, or an entire product that people subscribe to. That is where web design ends and a web application begins.

Most of these systems get built the lazy way: a no-code platform stitched together with monthly-fee add-ons, or one more plugin bolted onto a creaking WordPress install. It demos well. Then it slows down, the fees climb with every new user, and the day you want to change something important, you cannot. We build the other kind: hand-coded applications that stay fast, stay yours, and keep working when the traffic arrives.

What we build

  • Dashboards and internal tools. One screen that replaces five spreadsheets and a group chat: live orders, bookings, stock, revenue, whatever your team checks all day.
  • Booking and reservation systems. Calendars, capacity rules, deposits, payments and confirmation emails, for tables, appointments, courts, classes or tours.
  • Client portals and member zones. Secure log-in areas where customers see invoices, documents, order history or course material.
  • SaaS products. Multi-tenant applications with sign-up, subscription billing, roles and an admin panel, built to grow with your customer base.

Hand-built, not no-code duct tape

No-code and low-code tools are genuinely useful for testing an idea in a weekend, and we will say so when one is the right call. But they are rented ground. Your monthly bill grows with your success, the performance ceiling is fixed by someone else, and pulling your data and business logic back out is often impossible by design.

We write the parts of your product that need to last. The result is clean application code on a static-first foundation, fast by default, cheap to run, and free of the surprise invoices that come with platform lock-in. Where a proven service saves you money (a payment provider, an email API, an authentication layer) we integrate it rather than reinvent it, and we tell you exactly what each moving part costs.

Built to stay fast under load

A brochure site is fast because it is small. An app has to stay fast while it does real work: queries, logins, calculations, thousands of records. We design for that from the first sketch. Heavy work runs on the server, the interface loads instantly and updates only what changed, and we measure real performance on staging before anything reaches your customers.

That discipline is the same reason our presentation sites hit a genuine 100 on Google PageSpeed, applied to software that has to earn its speed every day. Fast software is not a vanity metric here: it is the difference between a booking completed and a customer who gave up halfway.

How a project runs

  1. Scoping call and quote. You describe the product; we ask the sharp questions and reply within 24 hours with a written scope and a fixed price. No “price on request”.
  2. Smallest useful version first. We define the smallest build a real customer can actually use, so you have working software in weeks, not a slide deck in months.
  3. Design and build. Senior developers write the code, wire up the integrations and set the interface on a fast foundation. You review working software at each milestone.
  4. Test, launch and hand over. Staging environment, automated tests, monitoring, then launch. You receive the full repository, documentation and the keys to your own data.

Larger products are split into paid milestones so you see progress early and keep control of the budget at every step.

What it costs

Custom web apps start at CZK 150,000 for a focused first version with a clear feature set. Price moves with scope: the number of features, user roles and integrations, not with how nicely it looks. A booking system, an internal dashboard and a full multi-tenant SaaS are three very different sizes, so we scope yours precisely before quoting. Every price is fixed and written down before we start. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.

Who this is for

Studios and clinics that need real bookings, agencies and trades that live in a dashboard, membership businesses, marketplaces, and founders building a SaaS product from an idea. If you have outgrown spreadsheets, plugins or a no-code platform, this is the service that replaces them. Browse the portfolio to see how we approach different sectors, and note that speed is our proof: we would rather show you a fast, working build than a wall of logos.

Start with a free quote: describe what your product needs to do in a few sentences and we will reply within 24 hours with a concrete recommendation and price. If you are not sure yet whether you need a full application or a smarter website, our web development service is the honest middle ground, and we will point you to it if that is what actually fits.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a website and a web app?

A website mostly presents information. A web app does something: it takes bookings, logs people in, calculates prices, syncs with other systems and stores data that changes every day. Most of our web-app projects still need a marketing site around them, so the same senior people handle both. Describe what your product should do and we will tell you plainly which service fits.

Do you build SaaS products from scratch?

Yes. We build multi-tenant SaaS with sign-up, subscription billing, role-based access and an admin panel, on a foundation that stays fast as you add users. We are honest about scope: a first working version that a real customer can pay for beats a feature list that takes a year. We start with the smallest useful build, ship it, then grow it from real usage.

Why not just use a no-code platform?

No-code tools are excellent for validating an idea, and we will tell you when one is genuinely the cheaper answer. The trouble starts when the product grows: monthly fees scale with usage, you cannot fix performance yourself, and exporting your data and logic is often impossible. We hand-build the parts that need to last, so speed, cost and ownership stay in your control.

Do I own the code and the data?

Completely. You get the full Git repository, deployment instructions and plain-language documentation on handover. The app runs on our hosting or on any infrastructure you choose, and nothing in the build ties you to Prahapp. Your database is yours to export at any time. If a vendor will not hand you the repository and the data, ask why.

How much does a web app cost and how long does it take?

Custom web apps start at CZK 150,000 for a focused first version and rise with the number of features, roles and integrations. A first release typically takes 6–12 weeks. Every price is fixed and written before we start, and larger products are split into paid milestones so you see working software early and control the budget at each step.

Not sure which service you need?

Describe your situation and we will point you to the right option, even if that means telling you not to buy from us yet.
